I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting started with AWS Organizations
AWS Organizations can be set up using both the AWS Management Console as well as the AWS CLI. In this section, we will be exploring simple steps using which you can get started with your own organization in a matter of minutes:
- From the AWS Management Console, filter out AWS Organizations using the Filter option or alternatively navigating to this URL https://console.aws.amazon.com/organizations/.
- Since this is the first time we are setting up an AWS Organization here, this particular account will now be transformed into the master account. Any other AWS accounts added or created to this master account will be termed as member accounts. Click on Create organization to get started.
