I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Marcos Mendes was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has a doctorate in economics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a master’s and bachelor’s in economics from the University of Brasilia. Mendes has extensive experience as a public sector economist, having worked 25 years at Brazilian federal agencies such as the Central Bank and the Treasury Department. Since 1995, he has served as an economic consultant for the Brazilian Senate, being responsible for, among other things, studying the economic impact of bills under congressional debate. A specialist in public finance, he has produced several recognized studies on public policy, fiscal federalism, and budgetary and fiscal policy in Brazil where he analyzes their political ...
