When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 3. Changing the View
The view presented by the Inkscape window can be changed in many ways. The changes can be divided into two types: those that change the way drawings appear and those that change how the Inkscape interface appears. A few of the latter type of changes are covered in other chapters such as Chapter 5, Positioning and Transforming, for Grids and Guide Lines, and Chapter 23, Customization, for changing parts of the GUI.
An Inkscape drawing can be viewed in many different ways. The view can be changed by panning and by zooming the canvas. The Inkscape window can be made full screen. Multiple views of the same canvas are possible. An Outline or Wire-frame mode is available as well as a Icon Preview window.
