I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 12. Eraser Tool
New in v0.47.
The Eraser Tool is used to erase parts of a drawing. It has two modes. The Touch mode removes objects from a drawing, while the Cut Out mode removes parts of objects. To use the tool, either click on the 
icon in the Tool Box or use the short cut Shift+E.
Eraser Touch Mode
In Touch mode, one uses the Eraser Tool to draw a red “touch” line. Any object that the line touches will be deleted when the stroke is finished. To enable Touch mode, click on the 
icon in the Eraser Tool-Tool Controls.
