To conclude, this chapter offers a number of key challenges and promising directions in the field of Intelligent Music Production. It is based on the review of the current state of the art, but certainly subjective to a degree. This chapter may therefore inspire a suitable project for students and academics starting to work in this field, or provide a reference for established IMP researchers.
