It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

It is claimed by the families of victims of OxyContin, a highly addictive opioid drug manufactured by Purdue Pharma, that the drug has claimed the lives of 400,000 Americans since 1999. The US Center for Disease Control and Prevention has calculated 500,000 opioid overdose deaths in the last two decades (Knauth and Hals 2022).
