Given that TypeScript is the language of choice for Deno’s creator and that he took advantage of the fact that this was a brand-new project to add native support of it, I deemed it convenient to have a full chapter dedicated to it. If you’re new to TypeScript, here you’ll learn the basics of it, everything you’ll need to understand the code samples that will follow in the next chapters. If, on the other hand, you’re already versed in this language, then maybe just skip ahead to Chapter 3 or read through this one for a quick refresher on the key concepts before moving forward.
