I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
3. Animating Objects
Edge Animate Preview 7 offers three built-in tools for creating elements for your animations: the Text tool, the Rectangle tool, and the Rounded Rectangle tool. We’ll explore the Text tool in Chapter 4, but for now let’s concentrate on objects. As I mentioned earlier, the Rectangle and Rounded Rectangle tools are basically interchangeable. They both create simple div elements, albeit one creates divs featuring rounded corners. But remember, the roundness of the corners is one of the attributes that can be edited and animated, and all rectangular elements can be converted from rectangular to rounded and back again, as desired.
