When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4. Animating Text
Text is an essential component of the web and web-based animations. Look at most commercial websites, and you’ll see dozens of banner ads and animations, many of which are text-based or text heavy. Edge Animate provides a tool for creating text to populate your animations natively. That means you don’t have to first go to Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, or Flash to save the text as an image or as vector outlines. The Edge Animate Text tool actually creates HTML-based text and formats it using CSS and JavaScript specifications. This opens a world of possibilities to your Edge Animate animations, but erects a few barriers as well.
