Chain of Responsibility Patterns

GoF Definition: Avoid coupling the sender of a request to its receiver by giving more than one object a chance to handle the request. Chain the receiving objects and pass the request along the chain until an object handles it.

Concept

Here we process a series of objects one by one (i.e., in a sequential manner). A source will initiate this processing. With this pattern, we constitute a chain where each of the processing objects can have some logic to handle a particular type of command object.
