I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Vartan Piroumian is an independent consultant in his native California. He has 16 years of professional software engineering experience. He first started learning about object-oriented programming in 1980 using Lisp.
Vartan specializes in object-oriented technology, Java, and internationalization. He works with various companies in the San Francisco Bay and the Los Angeles areas. He works frequently with Sun Microsystems' Solaris and Java Software divisions, where he created the first Japanese localized version of the Hot Java Views MailView application.
Vartan also teaches object-oriented technology and Java courses for the University of California Santa Cruz in the Santa Clara Valley.
