It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In diesem Kapitel schauen wir uns einige Themen wie primitive Typen und Zahlen aus einem neuen Blickwinkel oder anhand neuer Aspekte an, ergänzen unser Wissen etwa zum Ternary-Operator und erweitern unsere Java-Kenntnisse beispielsweise zu Fallunterscheidungen mit switch. Darüber hinaus werden Konstrukte wie break und continue in Schleifen zur Abrundung Ihres Wissens thematisiert. Den Abschluss bildet die Beschreibung einer »Rekursion« genannten Technik, mit der sich diverse Problemstellungen elegant lösen lassen.
Wir beginnen mit dem Thema Sichtbarkeits- und Gültigkeitsbereiche, um Variablen im Kontext von Methoden, Schleifen usw. noch besser zu verstehen.
