I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Hints and tips
There are a large number of different functions that can be applied to streams. If you happen to decide on the RxJS library for your FRP needs in JavaScript, many of the most common functions have been implemented for you. More complex functions can often be written as a chain of the included functions so try to think of a way to create the functionality you want by chaining before writing your own functions.
Frequently, asynchronous calls across the network in JavaScript fail. Networks are unreliable, mobile networks doubly so. For the most part when the network fails, our application fails.
