16. Contacts and Calendars
MOBILE phones have contact lists (address books) that you can use to keep track of all the people you usually call. Many phones also keep track of calendar appointments (event lists) and to-do lists as well. I would probably miss most of my meetings if my phone didn’t beep at me at the right time.
Contact, calendar, and to-do lists are a goldmine of useful information. Suppose you write a jazzy application for text messaging. It won’t be much good unless you can allow your users to send messages to people they’ve already entered in their contact lists.
