13. Multi-container Pod Design Patterns

A Pod is the minimal piece deployable in a Kubernetes cluster. A Pod can contain one or several containers.

When a Pod contains several containers, the containers share network and storage resources.

A single Pod having several containers has to be used with care. You should use this pattern only when the containers are tightly coupled and when one container is the principal one and the others are helping the first one.
