In the previous chapters, you have installed kubectl on the Kubernetes hosts and used it from these hosts. The usual way of using the kubectl command is to install it on your development machine.

In this chapter, you will see how to install kubectl on your machine and how to configure it to access the cluster you installed in Chapter 1.

Install kubectl on Your dev Machine

Depending on the operating system you are running on your development machine, follow one of these instructions:

Linux
