Staying Current
The SDK and SDK source code included on the CD-ROM are version 4.0 of Directory SDK for Java. To obtain the latest version of this software, visit the Netscape developer site at http://developer.netscape.com/tech/directory/downloads.html. You will be presented with a choice to download the software. If the version on the Web site is newer than 4.0, download the latest Directory SDK for Java. The complete source code to the SDK is also available at http://www.mozilla.org/directory/. Directory SDK for Java works with Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.1 or higher. The GUI examples in this book require JDK 1.2 or higher because they use Swing 1.1.
