It's not easy being a smart person—not that I know from personal experience, you understand. It's just that I have encountered hundreds of smart people in my work at the Center for Creative Leadership. Most of these encounters occur in one-on-one meetings with managers who are on the receiving end of a 360-degree-feedback report from their co-workers.
