So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

One last concept we need to understand before we can look into the analysis of economic releases and price movement is how to deliver these economic releases electronic to trading strategies right to the trading servers. There are a lot of service providers that provide economic releases directly to trading servers electronically via low-latency direct lines. Most providers cover most of the major economic indicators and usually deliver releases to the trading strategies in machine-parsable feeds. These releases can reach the trading servers anywhere from a few microseconds up to a few milliseconds after the official release.
