Unless configuration options are changed, all charts come pre-configured with default behaviors and transitions, which are animated. Animations are triggered by events, such as window resizing, data updates, or user interaction. The default pre-configured chart interactions include hovering the mouse over or near value points (used to trigger the appearance of tooltips containing details) and clicking or touching legends. This provides basic interactivity with smooth data transitions, but you may still want to fine-tune it by writing callbacks for different events or animation stages, changing animation properties such as duration or ease algorithms, or even turn the animations off completely.
