I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Global defaults
Properties in Chart.defaults.global contain configuration options for all types of charts, including graphical elements, titles and captions, layout properties, animation, tooltips, events, and plugins. But it doesn't include grids and scales, which are configured in the Chart.defaults.scale object. The options available in Chart.defaults.global are listed as follows. All these properties, except the default font and color settings, are also available as properties in the options configuration object of any chart instance:
