Section 4: Working with Model-Driven Apps

In this section, we are going to change our development approach to apps and switch from canvas apps to model-driven apps. We will now be focusing much more on the versatile data source known as the Common Data Service (CDS) and how that can be used to develop apps that are dedicated to a data structure.

In the first chapter of this section, we will look at the CDS in order to understand what it is, how it can be used, and ultimately how it drives this different type of app.

The second chapter will then build on the CDS and walk through the common building blocks related to model-driven apps.
