7. Picturesque Storage

As the saying goes, if you don’t have pictures, it didn’t happen.

It’s too bad no one can upload any pictures to our social media app just yet. But, by the end of this chapter, our users will be able to share their beautiful memories of sunset in Bali, serene cherry blossoms in Kyoto, or bucolic village life in a Dutch hamlet.

We will be using Active Storage to help us upload and store files. You will also learn how to use the newish File’s Blob URL API on the front end. On top of that, let’s see how we can utilize Capybara and RSpec to do end-to-end testing by controlling Google Chrome remotely.
