When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Hooks to the rescue!
React Hooks are based on the same fundamental principles as React. They try to encapsulate state management by using existing JavaScript features. As a result, we do not need to learn and understand specialized React features anymore; we can simply tap into our existing JavaScript knowledge in order to use Hooks.
Using Hooks, we can solve all the previously mentioned problems. We do not need to use class components anymore, because Hooks are simply functions that can be called in function components. We also do not need to use higher-order components and render props for contexts anymore, because we can simply use a Context Hook to get the data that we need.
