Learning Android Google Maps

Summary

In this chapter, we learned about Google Maps Intents. We learned how to display maps using the native Google Maps application. Then, we learned about advanced search using the Google Maps application. We proceeded to implement the navigation using different modes, such as driving and walking. We developed a custom application for navigation using the Google Maps application. Finally, we concluded the chapter by launching StreetViewPanorama from our application.

In our next and final chapter, we are going to develop a custom application with more advanced and complex features.
