Part I. Using ChatGPT in Excel
In Part I, you’ll learn the basic mentality to combine Excel and AI. We’ll focus on ChatGPT, but you can also apply the described methodology to other AI tools, such as Gemini and Claude, or even to conversational models you can install locally.

This approach encourages a way of thinking that extends beyond any single AI tool. Rather than focusing on how to operate a specific system, the chapter helps you develop a reusable mindset for interacting with AI through well-structured prompts. The framework is illustrated using ChatGPT and applied to common Excel tasks. The chapter concludes with hands-on prompts for creating basic functions and formulas.
