I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Sequence Generator transformation
Sequence Generator transformation is used to generate a sequence of unique numbers. Unique values are generated based on the property defined in the Sequence Generator transformation. A sample mapping showing the Sequence Generator transformation is shown in the following screenshot:
As you can see in the mapping, the Sequence Generator transformation does not have any input port. You need to define the start value, increment by value, and end value in the properties.
