So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Enter the Python
Python is the marvelous creature of Guido Van Rossum, a Dutch computer scientist and mathematician who decided to gift the world with a project he was playing around with over Christmas 1989. The language appeared to the public somewhere around 1991, and since then has evolved to be one of the leading programming languages used worldwide today.
I started programming when I was 7 years old, on a Commodore VIC 20, which was later replaced by its bigger brother, the Commodore 64. The language was BASIC.
