When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Navigating the Central Repository
To bring in RxJava as a dependency, you have a few options. The best place to start is to go to The Central Repository (search http://search.maven.org/) and search for rxjav. You should see RxJava 2.0 and RxJava 1.0 as separate repositories at the top of the search results, as shown in the following screenshot:

At the time of writing, RxJava 2.0.2 is the latest version for RxJava 2.0 and RxJava 1.2.3 is the latest for RxJava 1.0. You can download the latest JAR file for either by clicking the JAR links in the far right under ...
