It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendix E: Understanding Schedulers
You will likely not use schedulers in isolation, as we are about to do in this section. You are more likely to use them with observeOn() and subscribeOn(). However, we would like to demonstrate how they work in isolation outside of an Rx context so that you can understand their functionality better.
