When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Tableau file types
In addition to the file types mentioned before, there are quite a few other file types associated with Tableau. The following are some of the Tableau file types (with commonly used ones in bold):
.tbm: This stands for Tableau Bookmark. This is an XML file containing definitions of a static snapshot of a single view and associated data source(s). As sheets can now be copied and pasted from one workbook to another, this file type is largely not needed. You can create a bookmark and import it into other workbooks from the Window menu..tde: This stands for Tableau Data Extract, which is a binary file containing data extracted from another source. The.tdefile by itself does not contain information about the original data source. ...
