NET_RADIO — Wireless LAN drivers (non-hamradio) and Wireless Extensions

Saying yes here also enables the Wireless Extensions, creating /proc/net/wireless and enabling iwconfig access). The Wireless Extensions are a generic API that allows a driver to expose configuration and statistics for common wireless LANs to userspace. Wireless Extensions provide a single set of tools that can support all the variations of wireless LANs, regardless of their type (as long as the driver supports Wireless Extensions). Another advantage is that these parameters may be changed on the fly without restarting the driver or operating system.
