I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Man sollte es ja kaum für möglich halten: Seit der Einführung der EDV ist der Papierverbrauch eher gestiegen als gesunken! In fast jedem Betrieb, der ein EDV-Netzwerk betreibt, werden auch Drucker benötigt. Dabei ist es ziemlich unwirtschaftlich, jedem Mitarbeiter seinen eigenen Drucker hinzustellen. Besser wäre es, wenn an zentralen Stellen Drucker stehen, die von den Mitarbeitern gemeinsam genutzt werden können.
Dazu bietet es sich an, diese Drucker im Netzwerk verfügbar zu machen. Eine Möglichkeit ist, einen Drucker bei einem Mitarbeiter an seinem Arbeitplatz-PC anzuschließen: Ist dieser aber mal nicht da, muss zunächst seine Workstation gestartet werden – ist er da, fühlt er sich womöglich gestört, wenn ...
