Let’s start with discussing a preview of the potential of both infinite prompts and agentic reasoning.
Future Prospects and Challenges in LLMs
The path to artificial general intelligence (AGI) has been long and winding in the pioneering days of machine learning progress marked by foundational concepts, experimental algorithms, and limited computing capabilities. Mid-20th-century luminaries laid the groundwork for what would someday become a transformative technology. The emergence of transformers, LLMs, and generative AI recently led many to believe we stand at the precipice of something profound. The research and advances in LLMs continues with recent thinking and research around infinite prompts and agentic reasoning, which we introduced in Chapter 1.
