A new addition to the Mac OS with Mavericks, the Maps apps is easy to use, useful, and just plain cool.
Maps lets you search for businesses by type or by name with the builtin search box. It also shows you where you are, and shows you, with turn-by-turn directions, how to get to where you want to be, whether by car or by foot. You even get to see several different routes when they’re of similar time and distance. And, what is perhaps my favorite feature, you can see current traffic conditions!
