It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Text-preprocessing techniques
Before we can process text, it needs to be preprocessed. Preprocessing would deal with the following:
- Removing noise from the text under consideration
- Normalizing the sentence
- Standardizing the sentence
There can be additional steps, such as a grammar check or spellcheck, based on the requirements.
