Bootstrapping is the process wherein random sampling is performed with a replacement from a population that's comprised of n observations. In this scenario, a sample can have duplicate observations. For example, if the population is (2,3,4,5,6) and we are trying to draw two random samples of size 4 with replacement, then sample 1 will be (2,3,3,6) and sample 2 will be (4,4,6,2).
