Reading the closing pages of this book marks the end of a journey of sorts and the beginning of another: your journey as a professional photographer. It's time to pack what you learned in this book — what equipment to use, which genre suits you, who your customers are, how to market your work, how best to present your digital images, and the ins and outs of running a photography business — and begin your journey.
Of course, no entrepreneurial adventure — especially one in the direction of your dreams — is easy. Fortunately, you have this book as your map. Even so, you will meet challenges and experience frustrations. Don't become discouraged! They are a necessary part of any endeavor.
