5G Deployment Options
In this chapter, we are going to evaluate the two main architectures, namely Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA), that Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Communication Service Providers (CSPs) can choose when transitioning from 4G to 5G technology. We will also examine the migration paths and core network considerations in this transitional journey. Therefore, readers will understand the deployment and migration strategies that can be applied by operators during their own 5G journey.
