I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we've covered the important topic of Kubernetes cluster federation. Cluster federation is still in beta and is a little raw, but it is already usable. There aren't a lot of deployments and the officially supported target platforms are currently AWS and GCE/GKE, but there is a lot of momentum behind cloud federation. It is a very important piece for building massively scalable systems on Kubernetes. We've discussed the motivation and use cases for Kubernetes cluster federation, the federation control plane components, and the federated Kubernetes objects.
