Searching for system call rule violations

The third rule that we created was to monitor that sneaky Charlie. This rule will alert us whenever Charlie tries to open or create a file. (As we noted before, 1006 is Charlie's user ID number.):

sudo auditctl -a always,exit -F arch=b64 -S openat -F auid=1006

Even though Charlie hasn't done that much on this system, this rule gives us a lot more log entries than what we bargained for. We'll look at just a couple of entries:
