Thus, in order to build algorithms that perform and learn using the same techniques as the human mind, it is essential for us to learn how the brain works. By acquiring a fair understanding about how the human mind functions, we will have better understanding of deep learning. The three major distinctive mind functions are:

• Thinking (analyzing, comparing, and judging)
• Feeling (happiness, sadness, and excitement)
• Wanting (motives, desires, and goals)
