I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Supporting grouping sets
Grouping sets are essential to generate more than just one aggregation in a single query. The following list shows which engines support grouping sets and which don't:
- MariaDB: Only ROLLUP clause is supported since 5.1 (incomplete support)
- MySQL: Only ROLLUP clause since 5.0 (incomplete support)
- PostgreSQL: Since PostgreSQL 9.5
- SQLite: Not supported
- DB2 LUW: Since at least 1999
- Oracle: Since 9iR1 (around 2000)
- MS SQL Server: Since 2008
