I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CIM sessions
CIM sessions are used to work with CIM services, predominantly WMI or commands that base their functionality on WMI. Such commands include those in the NetAdapter and Storage modules available on Windows 2012 and Windows 8. A list of commands that support CIM sessions may be viewed by entering the following:
Get-Command -ParameterName CimSession
The list will only include commands from modules that have been imported.
