Using Fulfillment Software
In Chapter 5, Managing Sales Through WP-Admin, we talked about managing orders, including how to mark orders as shipped and how to print labels through your site. That’s the easiest way to fulfill orders and that’s how I recommend most store owners start.
Once your store starts growing and you need to ship out dozens of packages a day and you have full-time employees helping you pack and send orders, you probably want to set up software to help you ship packages. This is called fulfillment software. Alternatively, you might hire a third-party logistics partner (3PL) who will ship your packages for you. Both options have numerous advantages.
