The important thing to consider as you read is how the information creates patterns that you can use to solve your specific algebraic or statistical problem.
In most cases, there are multiple ways to obtain an answer to any question. This chapter demonstrates one method for each kind of equation or root. The point is that MATLAB can provide an answer as long as you have a viable means to ask the question.
