Fluid Effects
If you’ve never worked with Maya fluid effects before, they can seem somewhat intimidating, but fluids are like any of Maya’s other effects tools. If you apply some creative thinking, you do a lot of testing and tweaking, and you enjoy problem solving, you’ll find you can get some pretty wild effects in a short amount of time. The lessons in this chapter are not designed to teach you everything there is to know about fluids. Rather, these challenges offer you some easy examples of how fluids can be combined creatively with the other tools available in Maya to generate some pretty nifty effects.
