After you deploy your application, it enters the final stage of its lifecycle: management. At this point, systems administrators must monitor your application in the production environment. When problems occur, systems administrators must be able to detect the problem using their monitoring system. Ideally, they would be able to gather enough information about the problem to solve it themselves.
Every application will have problems; you must design your application to expose the information that systems administrators need to identify and solve those problems. The more information you provide them, the less often they will need to escalate troubleshooting to the development team.
