Part II. Completing basic tasks
The first part of this book introduced you to the Entity Framework and the workflows it supports. Now that you have a better idea of what the Entity Framework is, it’s time to see how you can use it to perform basic tasks. This part of the book shows how to perform basic tasks at two levels. In Chapter 4 you begin by gaining knowledge of the Entity Framework objects and how they’re used to perform tasks such as querying data and modifying it (including the three basic tasks of adding, editing, and deleting records). The chapter then moves on to the more advanced topics of using Query Builder methods and working with extension methods.
