Appendix B. Using Speech and Handwriting Recognition
Microsoft Office Excel 2003 supports two alternative-input methods: speech input and handwriting input. You can use a microphone to dictate text, issue commands, select toolbar buttons, and control items in dialog boxes or the task pane. You can input handwritten text using a drawing pad and stylus, or with a mouse. This appendix covers the basics of using these powerful alternative-input tools.
